Rode is a sniffing instructor. Although he can't teach you to become a Sniff Master, he does have a successful dojo of his own in Zoomy Village. He has an apprentice outside the dojo, and Yi Lu was once his student as well. It is a great honor to have Rode teach you, and you'll have to pass a test to prove you're worthy. Once you do earn your place as his student, he will instruct you in honing your sniffing powers and eventually introduce you to your final instructor, when you're ready.
