Goliath is a Boxer that lives in one of the two houses in Treely Woods. His profession is likely a constructor.
Missions[]
Goliath appears in a few missions, and one is stand-alone.
In the first quest Goliath appears in, The Player can't go to Zoomy Lake because there was a log in the way. Goliath agrees to help The Player chop the log, but his axe was broken, so he asks The Player to fetch him an Axe Handle. The Axe Handle is dropped by a Gorilla in Treely Woods.
In the second quest, Henry wants to cross the bridge to Gola Highlands, but can't because the bridge was broken. So, he asks The Player to find him Goliath, because he can fix the bridge. Goliath agrees to fix the bridge, but ran out of nails, so he asks The Player to go get some. They can get nails from Mary Theresa.
Personality[]
Goliath appears to be a very strong dog, but unfortunately has very bad back problems. He is the strongest dog you meet in-game, and so you recommend him to Ohlala as a strongman for his circus. He performs by pulling Ohlala in a sled, much like the sled minigame you play against a Victory Gang member.
Trivia[]
- Goliath is likely named after the Goliath Beetle, one of the strongest beetles on Earth, as well as the fable of David and the Goliath, a story about a young boy named David being able to defeat the giant Goliath with quick wit.
