Where to Catch Ancient Fish[]
Ancient Fish can be caught in the tiny pond next to Kunka Ruins in Rune Canyon, and Floor B2 in the secret part of Kunka Ruins. The two catch-points are vastly different, though; in the tiny pond in Rune Canyon, Ancient Fish are a little harder to come by. Whereas in floor B2 of the secret part of Kunka Ruins, Ancient Fish are the only thing you could catch there.

- In a similar title to THE DOG Island called Petz Catz/Dogz 2 (for the PS2 and Wii), you can catch an Ancient Fish in that game the dog even shares the same character sprite as it. The only difference is that the Ancient Fish in Petz Catz/Dogz 2 is that it's caught for fun.
- The Ancient Fish is likely based off of the real life coelacanth fish, which has been called the "living fossil" fish.
